Nobody knows how everything works when they start out, or even after a few years in the business. There's superior places to learn about how this industry works. You can talk and network with people on various chatboards, some are niche-specific, some are just general fucking around-type boards. Both are valuable sources for getting new information and keeping up to date with current affairs. Be careful though, some of the boards are rather addictive and can seriously cause unproductive hours.
Aside from boards, there's a ton of 'resource-sites', from where you can read industry-related news, press-releases, find new sponsors, read reviews and whatnot. We've listed our favorite resource sites on this page, as well as direct links to some of the designers, content stores and such that we like.
